Veg Burst Pizza

  • ✦ Bellpeppers & Mushrooms
  • ✦ Onion & Tomatoes
  • ✦ Olives & Corn
  • ✦ Olive Oil
  • ✦ Cornmeal or Flour
  • ✦ Herbs and Spices.

Recipe- Let's Get Started!!

  1. Preheat the Oven

    • Preheat your oven to the highest temperature it can go, typically around 475-500°F (245-260°C). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven while it preheats.
  2. Prepare the Dough

    • If using homemade dough, roll it out on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. If using store-bought dough, let it come to room temperature and follow package instructions for rolling it out.
  3. Prepare the Toppings

    • Wash and chop the assorted vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
    • If using any vegetables that need to be cooked (e.g., mushrooms) saute them lightly in olive oil until tender.
  4. Assemble the Pizza

    • Dust a pizza peel or the back of a baking sheet with cornmeal or flour to prevent sticking.
    • Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough to the prepared peel or baking sheet.
    • Spread a layer of pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
    • Arrange the assorted vegetables on top of the cheese.
  5. Bake the Pizza

    • Slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven.
    • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
  6. Serve

    • Remove the pizza from the oven using a pizza peel or large spatula.
    • Let it cool for a minute or two, then transfer it to a cutting board.
    • Sprinkle with optional herbs and spices, if desired.
    • Use a pizza cutter wheel to slice the pizza into wedges.
